Key contributions

  • Expanded brand guidelines to include motion design.

  • Led development of marketing, product, and social assets.

  • Created tutorial videos for students and offered mentorship.

Problem

Graduates lacked the industry-ready portfolios needed to land creative roles, often stuck with overly conceptual work. Created aimed to solve this by offering practical, real-world briefs, mentorship, and industry feedback. The company had just been rebranded but needed a designer to bring the guidelines to life across marketing and product assets.

Process

As the only in-house designer, I developed and expanded the brand’s visual identity, adding key elements like motion guidelines. I produced everything from course materials to marketing campaigns, always ensuring the visuals resonated with an audience of aspiring creatives. My work embraced the brand’s ethos, celebrating the iterative, messy, and experimental side of creativity.

Results

The brand became a cohesive, recognisable identity that inspired trust and engagement. My work supported Created in delivering on its promise to help graduates leave with stronger portfolios and greater confidence. From learning content to social assets, every touchpoint reflected a brand that understood and supported its audience’s journey into the creative world.
